The Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association (APPEA), on behalf of Queensland based gas companies, is pleased to support the continuation of CSG information workshops announced by the Queensland Government today.
As part of the program, AgForce will run 35 information workshops for landholders to help them prepare for potential interaction with gas companies particularly in relation to land access rights,
responsibilities and negotiations.
The program will include nine water or other technical field days with input from hydrologists, geologists, government experts and CSG company representatives.
APPEA Chief Operating Officer Eastern Region, Rick Wilkinson said: “There are many moving cogs associated with the production of natural gas from exploratory drilling, the laying of pipelines and
associated infrastructure to the development of liquefied natural gas for export.
“The AgForce program will build on the information database available to landholders and is certainly one the Queensland gas industry is happy to support.” Download PDF
