Environment Project Excellence Award

ConocoPhillips Australia on behalf of ConocoPhillips APLNG, Shell QGC, and Santos GLNG earned the Chair’s Award for their decade of industry collaboration and environmental excellence for the Gladstone Long Term Turtle Management Plan.

The other finalists in this category were:

  • The Santos Moomba Carbon Capture and Storage project
  • Woodside Energy’s Improving biodiversity outcomes in Western Australia: leveraging carbon-related reforestation

Safety Project Excellence Award

The Amplitude Energy BMG Decommissioning Campaign – Delivering Safety Excellence program won the Safety Project Excellence Award.

  • The Santos Campbell Platform Removal program
  • Woodside Energy’s initiative Improving Safety and Operational Efficiency through Condition-Based Monitoring and IoT Technologies

Community Development Excellence Award

Woodside Energy’s Woodside Development Fund and One Tree Community Services – Roebourne Pathways Program won the Community Development Excellence Award.

  • Beach Energy’s campaign Cultural Connections: Strengthening relationships and protecting heritage
  • KAEFER, together with Santos, for its initiative Increasing Indigenous Training and Jobs in the Energy Sector

Workforce Development Excellence Award

The Workforce Development Excellence Award went to Santos for its Real Thrives Here Program – a shining example of how a differentiated and bold EVP is helping a workforce shift and deliver on the energy transition project.

  • Chevron Australia’s campaign Unlocking potential: encouraging women’s participation in technical roles
  • ExxonMobil’s Internship Program
